How to Grow Your VA Business

Being the owner of a VA business, it’s your job and responsibility to prove to your client you are in fact the best for the job. Asking the important questions and learning all there is to know about their business will show them how dedicated you are to work to their best advantage. This could possibly end up with them asking more of you in terms of work. That’s great!

But maybe what they are offering still isn’t enough to cover what you had in mind for the growth of your VA business.
You’ve worked hard so far to respect all schedules, provide quality work and possibly even go above and beyond the call of duty for your clients. In order to grow your VA business, why not try asking your present clients if they have any colleagues they could recommend you contact. If they are satisfied with your work and commitments themselves, they are more likely to make those recommendations to others.

But how exactly do you go about finding new clients without depending on recommendations from the ones you presently have? Many Virtual Assistants use a variety of means to put themselves in the spotlight of advertising.

There is the possibility of posting your services on the various internet job listing boards. These locations, such as Freelance.com or Monster.com could be fantastic locations to not only post your service but to find extra clients as well.

Networking is another means to not only market your services, but also to reach potential team members and new clients. With the multitude of networking sites and forums you can join, there are two forums that come to mind above the others; VAnetworking and Virtual Assistant Forums. Both of these sites offer you free membership when you sign up with them.

Social networking sites such as Twitter or Facebook are also good for finding people related to the VA business. Joining any number of these social networking sites can assist you in possibly finding those ideal contacts without much effort. You can choose one or several to join.

Blogging is a great way to attract people to your business, which will result in getting your business name known. Blogging gives others the opportunity to know who you are, as well as your views and practices in the Virtual Assistant industry. You can also take the time to find other blogs related to the same topic and comment on their posts to get comfortable with the world of blogging. You will still be giving your personal views for others to see, while they learn more about what you do and who you are.

Article marketing can get your business name in the light rather easily. When it comes to article marketing you may choose to write anything regarding Virtual Assistance. This subject matter leaves many open doors for article topics. It will also let people know you are available for the job.

So as you can see, building your Virtual Assistant or VA business isn’t as hard as it sounds. With the right tips, quality work and perseverance, anything is possible. In order to be a star you have to reach for it first.
