Start a Santa Letter Business

Are you looking for an easy, profitable side business that you can run right from your home with very little start-up capital? Lots of people are, which is what makes it so hard to get started. Most businesses can be easy, but there’s so much competition. This makes starting a Santa letter-writing business such a great opportunity – it’s easy, it’s simple, and there’s not a lot of people doing it yet.

Santa letter writing businesses are simple. Kids write letters to Santa all the time, but it’s not as often that Santa writes back. Parents and grandparents can fill out a simple survey, whether on paper or online, and you use the information to write a personalized letter from Santa for their child.

Any parent can tell you about the joy that lights up their child’s face on Christmas morning. They can also tell you how happy this makes them and that they’ll do anything to make their child feel like this year round. A great way to keep this feeling is to give your child a personalized letter from Santa. And they’ll pay money to get these letters, which means you can make money writing them.

Like many other home-based businesses, a Santa letter-writing business is fairly easy to get started in and requires very little capital. You will need something to write the letters on, preferably a computer and printer, and materials to put them on, like decorative paper, envelopes, and labels.

While you can always invest more time and money into advertising for your business, getting started can be much easier than that. Every day you have contact with tens or even hundreds of people. These are all potential customers. Just by opening up, telling people what you do, and keeping business cards and flyers on hand, you can start a solid customer base. These customers will then share with their friends and continue to grow your business.

It’s a good idea to also invest in your own website. Not only can you use it to advertise your services, you can also use it to set up your survey for customers. Depending on how high-tech you want to make your website, you can simplify the process even more by how you output the survey result. If you do it right, you could have the letters half-written for you.

The biggest problem most people have with Christmas is that it only comes once a year. This is also the biggest problem you can face with a Santa letter-writing service, but it’s also one of the easiest problems to overcome. While Christmas may be the biggest money-making special event, it’s not the only one. And it’s not the only one parents would like letters for. You can market letters for other holidays, or even expand to special events like birthdays, graduations, and other significant life events. While these may be less generic and take a little more time, they’ll be able to keep you busy through the rest of the year.

A letter-writing business is a great way to make some extra cash for the holidays or have a profitable business all year round.
