Build Emotional Stability with Blog Affirmations

The process of engaging in daily affirmations is something that has helped many individuals overcome obstacles and see progress with their personal development. Usually, affirmations are taught in the form of speaking them aloud – sometimes in front of a mirror.

But some people have begun combining their affirmations with the process of blogging, something that gives them a talking point for the day and a map on how they want to live their life in the next 24 hours and beyond.

If you get yourself in the routine of blogging first thing in the morning, you’ll be able to select a positive affirmation of your choice and then convey your thoughts about it for your own records and to those following your blog.

Sometimes writing down your take on something and being forced to formulate the words about it means it will have a stronger impact on you than merely parroting a phrase verbally for a few minutes.

So first, think about what type of affirmation you’d like to experience for that day. Perhaps you need courage for a job interview or for a difficult decision you’re about to make.

Go online or choose an affirmation in a book and focus your blog content around this topic. So for instance, your affirmation might be, “I am in control of how I respond to challenging situations in my life.”

You could title your blog post something like, “I Am in Control,” and then start the post off with your complete positive affirmation. Follow that by discussing what event is coming up that requires you to be courageous.

Be as open or private as you want to. It’s okay to be vague about the exact issues and who is involved. If you do want to be specific, but private, there are ways to protect your blog entry from becoming published to the public.

In your post, talk about the reasons you’re feeling less confident about the situation, the worries you harbor in your heart, and the uneasiness you’re faced with. But then move into the phase where you’re embracing a new mentality for the day – something that benefits your situation more.

Discuss why you’re going to be at peace and immersed in a feeling of being in control from that moment on. Empower yourself by boosting your own confidence in the situation.

Working through the problem strategically in your mind and in written words will help your subconscious adopt the healthy approach to the problem at hand. You’ll be able to start your day off on the right foot.
