Scripture Readings: Psalms 26, 56, 86, 116, 146; Proverbs 26
Daily Prayer: Spirit of the Living God,
As I reflect on the beauty of Your creation and the depth of Your love, guide me to live a life that honors You and brings joy to those around me.
In Psalm 26, vindicate me, Lord, for I have led a blameless life; I have trusted in the Lord and have not faltered. Test me, Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind.
Through Psalm 56, when I am afraid, I put my trust in You. In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
From Psalm 86, hear me, Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy. Guard my life, for I am faithful to You; save Your servant who trusts in You. You are my God; have mercy on me, Lord, for I call to You all day long.
In Psalm 116, I love the Lord, for He heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy. Because He turned His ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I live.
Psalm 146, praise the Lord, my soul. I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.
From Proverbs 26, like snow in summer or rain in harvest, honor is not fitting for a fool. Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest.
Spirit of the Living God, let me be inspired by Your creation and Your statutes. May my life be a testament to Your enduring faithfulness and a reflection of Your boundless love.
In Your glorious and eternal name, I pray, Amen.
