Scripture Readings: Psalms 29, 59, 89, 119, 149; Proverbs 29
Daily Prayer: Spirit of the Living God,
Today, as I study Your Word, strengthen me with the knowledge of Your presence and the assurance of Your power. Help me to rely on You in all circumstances, celebrating Your sovereignty and grace.
In Psalm 29, ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.
Through Psalm 59, deliver me from my enemies, O God; be my fortress against those who are attacking me. Deliver me from evildoers and save me from those who are after my blood.
From Psalm 89, I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth, I will make Your faithfulness known through all generations. I will declare that Your love stands firm forever, that You have established Your faithfulness in heaven itself.
In Psalm 119, blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord. Blessed are those who keep His statutes and seek Him with all their heart—they do no wrong but follow His ways.
Psalm 149, sing to the Lord a new song, His praise in the assembly of the faithful. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
From Proverbs 29, whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy. When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.
Spirit of the Living God, may the messages of redemption and divine justice in these scriptures inspire me to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You.
In Your redemptive and mighty name, I pray, Amen.
