Scripture Readings: Psalms 6, 36, 66, 96, 126; Proverbs 6
Daily Prayer: Spirit of the Living God,
Today, as I absorb the teachings from Your holy scriptures, I ask for Your divine wisdom to guide and enlighten me. Let Your truths resonate within me and transform my daily walk.
In Psalm 6, I ask for Your mercy in my moments of weakness and distress. Do not rebuke me in Your anger or discipline me in Your wrath. Be gracious to me, Lord, for I am faint; heal me, for my bones are in agony.
Through Psalm 36, I marvel at Your unfailing love, which reaches to the heavens, and Your faithfulness that stretches to the skies. Let Your righteousness be like the highest mountains, Your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.
From Psalm 66, I come before You with joyful shouts, celebrating Your mighty deeds among us. You who turned the sea into dry land, let the nations rejoice and sing for joy, for You rule the world with Your power.
In Psalm 96, I sing a new song to You, proclaiming Your salvation from day to day. Declare Your glory among the nations, Your marvelous works among all peoples, for You are great and greatly to be praised.
Psalm 126 brings tears of joy as those who sow with tears reap with songs of joy. Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
From Proverbs 6, I heed the warnings against folly and embrace wisdom. Keep me from the snares of laziness and the pitfalls of harmful conversations. Let Your commandments guide me and protect me, lighting my path and leading me to life.
Spirit of the Living God, let the power of these words strengthen and uphold me throughout this day, filling me with Your grace and peace.
In Your loving and mighty name, I pray, Amen.
