Embracing God’s Love

Day 3: Embracing God’s Love That Draws Us to Repentance

Theme: His love leads us to transformation.

Scriptures:

  • Jeremiah 31:3 NKJV: “The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: ‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.'”
  • 1 John 4:16 NKJV: “And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.”

Reflection:
God’s love is eternal, unfailing, and transformative. It is His kindness that draws us to repentance. When we understand the depth of His love, we are compelled to surrender the hidden areas of our lives that hinder intimacy with Him.

Devotional Thought:
God’s love is not only eternal but active, drawing us closer to Him. It’s His kindness that leads us to repentance, not condemnation. Consider areas where you’ve felt distant from God and allow His love to pull you back into His embrace.

Action Step: Spend 10 minutes meditating on God’s love for you. Write down any thoughts or areas of your life where you sense Him calling you to trust Him more.

Prayer:
“Father, thank You for loving me with an everlasting love. I surrender the areas of my life that grieve Your heart. Let Your love transform me. Amen.”
