- ESV: “For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.”
- Isaiah 54:17
- NKJV: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.”
- ESV: “No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”
Reflection:
Sin creates strongholds that weigh us down, but Jesus came to destroy every yoke. Through His sacrifice, we are no longer slaves to sin but are clothed in His righteousness. Let us embrace this freedom as we seek to live in victory.
Devotional Thought:
Sin creates strongholds, but Jesus came to destroy every yoke. Through His sacrifice, we are no longer slaves to sin. Reflect on areas where you feel bound and invite Jesus to break those chains.
Action Step: Write down one stronghold or habit you want to break. Declare freedom over it in the name of Jesus and commit to surrendering it to Him daily.
Prayer:
“Lord, destroy every yoke of sin in my life. Break its power and clothe me with Your righteousness. Let me walk in the freedom You provide. Amen.”
