Scripture Readings: Psalms 14, 44, 74, 104, 134; Proverbs 14
Daily Prayer: Spirit of the Living God,
As I meditate on Your Word today, grant me the discernment to understand and apply Your divine wisdom to my life. May Your scriptures provide direction and comfort as I walk with You.
In Psalm 14, the fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt; their deeds are vile. May I not follow in their footsteps but live in acknowledgment of Your sovereignty and grace.
Through Psalm 44, we have heard with our ears, O God; our ancestors have told us what You did in their days, in days long ago. Do not reject us or forsake us but rise up and help us; redeem us because of Your unfailing love.
From Psalm 74, remember how the enemy has mocked You, O Lord, how foolish people have reviled Your name. Do not deliver the soul of Your dove to the wild beasts; do not forget the lives of Your afflicted people forever.
In Psalm 104, O Lord my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty. The earth is full of Your creatures. May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in His works.
Psalm 134, praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who minister by night in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord. May the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, bless you from Zion.
From Proverbs 14, the house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish. There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end, it leads to death.
Spirit of the Living God, infuse my spirit with Your truth and wisdom as revealed in these scriptures. Let them guide me today and always, shaping my thoughts and actions in Your likeness.
In Your powerful and loving name, I pray, Amen.
