Scripture Readings: Psalms 15, 45, 75, 105, 135; Proverbs 15
Daily Prayer: Spirit of the Living God,
As I delve into Your Word today, let each verse speak to me, instructing and guiding me towards a deeper relationship with You. May these teachings mold my character and my daily actions.
In Psalm 15, Lord, who may dwell in Your sacred tent? Who may live on Your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart.
Through Psalm 45, my heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer. You are the most excellent of men and grace is poured upon Your lips.
From Psalm 75, we give thanks to You, God, we give thanks, for Your Name is near; people tell of Your wonderful deeds. It is God who judges: He brings one down, He exalts another.
In Psalm 105, give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what He has done. Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced.
Psalm 135, praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing praise to His name, for that is pleasant. For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is greater than all gods.
From Proverbs 15, a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.
Spirit of the Living God, let these words from the Psalms and Proverbs inspire me to live a life that honors You. Strengthen me to be a bearer of Your peace, love, and truth.
In Your gracious and eternal name, I pray, Amen.
