Scripture Readings: Psalms 25, 55, 85, 115, 145; Proverbs 25
Daily Prayer: Spirit of the Living God,
As I open my heart to Your Word, grant me the wisdom to understand Your teachings and the courage to apply them in my life. Let Your divine guidance lead me in paths of righteousness and peace.
In Psalm 25, to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. In You, I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. Show me Your ways, Lord, teach me Your paths.
Through Psalm 55, hear my prayer, O God; do not ignore my plea; hear me and answer me. My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught at the voice of the enemy, at the stares of the wicked; for they bring down suffering upon me and revile me in their anger.
From Psalm 85, You, Lord, showed favor to Your land; You restored the fortunes of Jacob. You forgave the iniquity of Your people and covered all their sins. Revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You.
In Psalm 115, not to us, O Lord, not to us but to Your name be the glory, because of Your love and faithfulness. Why do the nations say, “Where is their God?”
Psalm 145, I will exalt You, my God the King; I will praise Your name forever and ever. Every day I will praise You and extol Your name forever and ever.
From Proverbs 25, like apples of gold in settings of silver is a ruling rightly given. Like an earring of gold or an ornament of fine gold is the rebuke of a wise judge to a listening ear.
Spirit of the Living God, help me to seek and follow Your guidance, learning from Your Word each day. May I walk in Your wisdom and reflect Your love and righteousness in all my actions.
In Your loving and wise name, I pray, Amen.
