Scripture Readings: Psalms 16, 46, 76, 106, 136; Proverbs 16
Daily Prayer: Spirit of the Living God,
Today, as I engage with Your holy scriptures, let Your teachings resonate within me, providing wisdom, comfort, and guidance. Let Your Spirit direct my path and my understanding.
In Psalm 16, I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from You, I have no good thing.” I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Through Psalm 46, God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.
From Psalm 76, You are renowned, O God, in Judah; in Israel, Your name is great. You are radiant with light, more majestic than mountains rich with game. At Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both horse and chariot lie still.
In Psalm 106, praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever. Remember me, Lord, when You show favor to Your people, come to my aid when You save them.
Psalm 136, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever.
From Proverbs 16, to humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.
Spirit of the Living God, let the truth of these passages fill my heart and mind today, guiding my thoughts, words, and actions in alignment with Your will.
In Your loving and powerful name, I pray, Amen.
